Mr. Rawle Parris
Mr. Rawle Parris is Guyanese and attended Bishops High School. He received the Guyana and Cambridge Commonwealth Scholarship in 1986 and studied at the University of Cambridge, Churchill College in 1990 revceiving a Bachelors degree ( (Hons,) in 1990. He became a Chartered Accountant in 1994.
He is currently the RBS (Markets) Head of New Business Control and Accounting Policy. He was formerly the RBS Head of GBM Finance, Asset Protection Scheme and prior to that worked with Mizuho International as a Contractor of Risk and Product Control and ING Wholesale as Director and Head of Property Derivatives Trading. He also worked with ABN Amro in several positions, the last being Executive Director and the Head of Property Derivatives Trading and with JP Morgan Chase, Vice President, Credit Markets Middle Office. He is the Co-Founder and Trustee of the Roraima Fund. This fund identifies and finances local Guyanese projects that are likely to contribute to positive improvements in governance and the society at large. The fund covers areas such as youth initiatives, socio-economic and leadership projects, research and development and other new initiatives.
